Snowy Mountains Matte Painting - Star Wars: The Force Awakens

I did the matte paintings and projection for the sky , the mountains and the clouds for this sequence under the supervision of Iain Morton at ILM. They wanted very specific clouds for these shots , so they were hand painted in photoshop. The entire base was done by my good friend and mentor Stanislaw Marek. I also modeled a rough mountain geometry for the matte painting projection to get proper integration with the base.
