Nymeve Lake, Planet Takodana - Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens

One of the matte paintings I did on Star Wars: The Force Awakens under the supervision of Iain Morton ...Of course we had amazing reference for this location and the amazing art department at ILM came up with the concept art for distribution of water and vegetation. We didn't have proper high res images for this location at that time...so I remember I had to hand paint lot of the details in it, so this one still has a painterly feel to it.
